Why you need a website

The internet has quite simply become the first point of reference for a majority of UK consumers. You cannot afford to ignore it as a channel for promoting your business. Check these facts from the British Marketing Research Board (BMRB) published in May 2005:

  • There are 36 m internet users in the UK - that’s over 6 in 10 people
  • The average time spent online per day is just under 2 hours
  • Internet users visit an average of 2,805 pages each month
  • Over 6 in 10 internet users plan to buy online in the next 6 months
  • Over half of internet users have researched a purchase online before visiting the high street

There is no other medium that allows you to promote your business online 24-hours a day, 7-days a week - and the costs of getting a basic business website can be less than a one-off press advert!
