The business objective
Cambridge based recruitment agency Greenhill Group wanted to maximise use of the internet to promote their specialist sales and marketing recruitment services within East Anglia, both to prospective candidates and leading recruiters.
Internet marketing strategy
Fen Digital’s strategy was to optimise the client’s website and launch a suite of integrated Top 100 profiles to target different customer sectors.
High search rankings achieved
Within a month, Greenhill’s Google ranking was transformed through Fen Digital’s internet marketing, gaining a high percentage of first page listings.
Huge increase in quality visitor traffic
Data from google analytics has revealed the success and quality of the internet marketing campaign:
- New visits: Over the course of 2008-2009, the Top 100 profiles accounted for 79.9% of new visits, the highest increase of any other source by a factor of over 50%. Because of the user focused content on the profiles, the quality of visits has been exceptionally high.
- Bounce rates: The average bounce rate for the client’s website is a respectable 25%. When visitors arrive via the profiles, that drops to an average of 17%, with the best performing profile generating an average bounce rate of only 7% over the year.
