Chamonix has been a summer resort for over 250 years. Here is a selection of summer activities available.
Horse-riding Le Fayet and Argentiere

Golf There is a superb course at Chamonix
Windsurfing and swimming Lac de Passy
Swimming pool with sauna and fitness centre in Cham
Fly Fishing at Lac des Gaillands
Trout fishing Free! You pay per kg for the fish. It is impossible not to catch them!
Tackle and bait for hire 9 am - 12 pm, 3 pm-7 pm) on site in Les Houches - Lac de Chavant (near Prarion lift)
Flora and Fauna Organised walks around the nature reserves for all fitness levels - best in late May/June
